Sling Wave dropped his EP "Elephas" on Widdfam
Up and coming Denver producer, Sling Wave released his debut EP today on the Widdfam Label. Elephas is a 4 track EP, featuring heavyweight tunes that are sure to shake any sound system. Earlier this week, Keep Deep gave listeners an early taste with an exclusive premiere of Ghidora. We’ve been left hungry for more and Elephas leaves our ears feeling satisfied.
Right off the bat, this EP begins with the heavy-hitter "Basilisk", featuring a mysterious atmosphere paired with distorted, crunchy leads. The title track "Elephas" takes listeners down into the trenches of the dark and ominous void, delivering deeper swaying synths over metallic percussion and hard-hitting drums. "Ghidora" envelops the room in a dark labyrinth of fluttering sub-basses and wobbling synth work. The final track "Lattice Gauge", wraps up the EP with a funky vibe, pairing mind-bending delays and Sling Wave’s signature style.
Coming off his Couchfam Livestream set in February, and his latest Widdfam Tunesdays set, we can say that Sling Wave is already making huge strides with his production as well as performances. He created a colossal EP, and we are thrilled to see what his future holds.
