VEIL and MYTHM deliver a bass-rattling soundscape with new single "DECEPTION"

Coming from her new CONDUCTION mix, it’s no surprise that when VEIL teams up with MYTHM for a collab, it’s going to be a massive hit. Formerly known as spacegeishA, VEIL has been making waves and setting trends in the underground bass scene for years. She is the label director for Street Ritual, which features releases from artists such as Shlump, DALEK ONE, Detox Unit, and more. From beautiful soundscapes to basslines that rattle, VEIL’s sound is a brilliant concoction of dubstep, drum and bass, halftime, and left-field.

Vancouver-based MYTHM has recently been crushing venues around North America on his Technique Tour, as well as having his Black Box debut last Friday. His combination of classic dubstep elements with a new-age twist has earned him support from noted producers such as J:Kenzo, Truth, Zeds Dead, Stylust, N-Type, Liquid Stranger, and Peekaboo. With a recent nomination as one of the Breakthrough Producers for DUPLOC’s 2021 “Dubstep Awards,” he’s an artist you will want to keep an eye on.

Weaving together VEIL’s versatility with MYTHM’s cutting-edge sound design, these two came together to deliver one massive collab, “DECEPTION.” Combining low-hitting, full-bodied sub-basses with monstrous leads, this track perfectly portrays the darker, grittier regions of bass music. “DECEPTION” blends dark and thunderous basses and elegant soundscapes, with brief interludes that contrast perfectly while still hitting heavy. This is one you’ll have on repeat for days.
